New Journey PAC was proud to endorse Allen West as Republican Party Chair for the State of Texas in 2020. Allen won this race and served as the GOP Chairman until June 2021 when Allen stepped down from this position to challenge Gov. Greg Abbott and former state Sen. Don Huffiness in the 2022 state primary for the office of Governor. Allen lost the primary race to Incumbent Gov. Abbott, but continues to be an active member of the Texas Republican Party.
